Is this a cool photo or what? Again, it is one I pulled from a blog with no listed photo credit. I love the raw wood and the stars. It reminded me of another saying which I have come to appreciate….You Are Enough……..just as you are with who you are today, You Are Enough. In this world where people sometimes want us to believe we are not enough….smart enough, talented enough, young enough, old enough, not christian enough, too christian….whatever it is….whatever judgement people want to place on you……take a deep breath and say, I Am Enough. Believe. You are beautiful.

I found this photo on an internet blog and fell in love with it. (Sorry there was no name for photo credit, it is not mine though). Anyway…what I loved was the vintage dress colors and the old typewriter. I too have an old typewriter that I like to use. I write letters to my friends, do journal pages, write poetry with it. I like the sound of the keys tapping out the message, it sounds so fun.

Here is a “birdhouse” I made a while back. It has words under the glass which say The Creative Soul. I believe creativity feeds the soul which is why I especially like the one quote C sent about imagination.

Sometimes you get a wonderful surprise, a gift, that reminds you how we are all bound together in this thing called life. A surprise like getting up in the morning and finding a bird in your living room. The bird in this photo somehow flew down the chimney vent and ended up in the house. A few minutes after opening the back door for it the bird flew off to freedom, leaving behind the gift of its’ presence.

Creating Art is a world wide human trait.

I have just finished an Art marathon for myself where I created some wonderful healing art to release some strong emotions using a combination of journaling and collage work. Art is freeing, relaxing and healing. Try it.
